Shoemaker Medical Introduces Animation and Illustration Service to Companies

New studio to emphasize service, clarity and elegance in medical communication

DALLAS, Texas (Nov. 8, 2010) – Medical device companies, pharmaceutical advertisers and surgeons involved in bringing new products to market will now have access to specialized medical illustration and animation,  thanks to the launch of Shoemaker Medical. The new firm, based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, provides expert, high-quality service in medical illustration and animation, giving clients the power to communicate visually.

Founded by spouses Maya and Clint Shoemaker and announced today, the studio is built on the principles of client service, efficient management, and visual clarity.

“We are thrilled to introduce Shoemaker Medical to its prospective clients,” said Maya Shoemaker, owner and lead illustrator, Shoemaker Medical. “Our strategy is to emphasize direct communication with clients and sell the service of medical illustration. Together with excellent project management, that allows us to focus more energy on producing beautiful work.”

In each project, Shoemaker Medical calls attention to these attributes of visual communication:

  • elegance – to make the message clear to the viewer
  • beauty – to make the message engaging
  • accuracy – to help impart true knowledge

Medical marketing executives who know that visual support strengthens a message often turn to medical illustration when films and photography do not clearly tell the story. Shoemaker Medical specializes in projects for pharmaceutical and device companies, and the studio works closely with art directors at advertising and design agencies.

A portfolio of work is viewable at the studio’s website, www.shoemakermedical.com .
